Examination Text | Elizabeth Conyers aged 21 years and upwards lodging at Mr Odell's in Salisbury Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by the officers of the Parish of St. James within the liberty of Westminster by an indenture for seven years to John Patmore a Fisherman in Salisbury Street in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served two years, and then her Master died and this Examinant went away which is about seven years ago, since which she hath not kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant. Sworn the 16th Day of July 1757 before Benjamin Cox. |
