Examination TextMary Dent aged 60 years lodging at Mr Mason's Linen Draper in Dukes Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Richard Dent (who died in the year 1740), to whom she was married at St Anne's Church by Aldersgate London in the year 1719, that she this Examinant lived in and rented an house near Dirty Lane in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 12 years at the yearly rent of 16 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about seven years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant since. Sworn the sixth day of June 1758 before Benjamin Cox.
