Examination Text | Simon Unwin aged 69 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr John Hall a Coachmaker in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his said time out which expired about 40 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middx. Taken in the workhouse the fifth day of November 1759. |
