Examination TextSarah Moxam aged 42 years lodging in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Edward Moxam (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Martin in the Fields the 12th Day of January in the year 1742, that he is a Cordwainer by trade and lived in and rented an house in Hewitts Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of five years at the yearly rent of 14 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about 16 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since, that she hath one child living by her said husband to wit Sarah aged about four years now with her husband, and that she this Examinant is now pregnant. Sworn the 23rd Day of May 1759 before Benjamin Cox.
