| Examination Text | Anne Willy aged about 30 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice for three years to Mrs Bridge a Silk Dyer and Mantua Maker in Panton Street in the Parish aforesaid and there served all her said time out which expired about four years ago, that she this Examinant never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse of 21st Day of April 1761. |
