| Examination Text | Elizabeth Jameson aged 42 years lodging with Andrew Smith at Mr Edwards's in Cecil Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Simes in Spring Gardens in the said Parish of the space of 15 months at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about eight years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 together since. Sworn the 20th Day of March 1760 before Benjamin Cox. |
