Examination TextLucy Legier aged 30 years and upwards destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Gabriel Legier (gone from her) to whom she was married at the Fleet 11 years ago and upwards, that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr [Heaurain] a Victualler in York Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all the said time out which expired about 18 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant since, that she hath two children living by her said husband to wit George aged eight years and upwards and William aged two years and upwards both now with this Examinant. Sworn the first day of March 1760 before Benjamin Cox.
