Examination TextGabriel Revan aged 55 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Peter Roniblew [sic] a Staymaker the corner of St Martin's Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served all his said time out which expired about 35 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Catherine at the Parish Church of St. George Bloomsbury the 4 September 1758. Sworn the first Day of February 1765 before Benjamin Cox.
