Examination Text | Sarah Tyler aged 41 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Clement Danes upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs. Mary Higgins a Victualler at the sign of the St Luke Head in Mercers Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years and an half at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same 24 years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the seventh Day of January 1767. |
