Examination TextFrances Stephenson aged 22 years passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Cuthbert a Staymaker in that part of Russell Street which is in the Parish St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one year and four months at the yearly wages of 6 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about four years ago, that she hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 25th day of September 1766 before Thomas Kynaston, Peter Planck.
