| Examination Text | Thomas Davis aged 29 Years removed from St Sepulchre upon those Oath saith that world she was Single & unmarried he served Two Years andTen Months under a Yearly hiring with Mr Edward Woodmas a Wine merchant at No 38 ended Strand in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields act 8 Pounds by the Year Wages diet & lodging quitted the same ended Year 1782 since which hath not rented Ten Pounds by the Year been a Yearly hired Seven in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was Married to his present Wife Ann at the Parish Church of Saint Luke Street this 16th Day of November 1789.
