| Examination Text | Ann Ward aged 74 years upon her Oath saith that she is the Widow of Bartholomew Ward who died about 40 Years ago that since they deceased of Horace said Husband having child or Children she served Seven Years under a yearly hiring to Mr Richard Beauchamp in Dukes Court Drury Lane in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields at the Yearly Wages of 6 Pounds diet & lodging quitted the same upon the decease of her said Master in the year 1789 since which she hath not been the Yearly hired Seven in any place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement.
