Examination TextJohn Sacre aged 60 Years removed from little Clacton Essex upon his Oath saith that he is the carpenter by Trade that he lived in & rented Two Rooms Unfurnished of George Phelps in middle Scotland yard in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields for the space of ffour Years at the Yearly Rent of Ten Guineas quitted the same act Michas 1790 since which he has not Kept House rented Ten Pounds by the Year paid any Taxes not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement , that he was Married to his present Wife Martha at the Parish Church of Thorpe le Socon in Essex in November 1753 that he has Three Children to wit . Henry aged 24 Years Martha Ann Susannah aged 17 and Mary aged 29 that the said Henry , nor Martha where another bound Apprentice been in Service not done any Act to gain a Settlement in their own Right.
