Examination TextElizabeth Beech aged 70 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Thomas Beech (who died 18 years ago) to whom she was married at the Fleet about 28 years ago, that her said husband served his apprenticeship to his Father a Currier in Bedfordbury in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields as he her said husband hath informed this Examinant, that he her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together after the expiration of his said apprenticeship to this Examinant's knowledge, nor hath she this Examinant since the death of her said husband. Sworn the 21st Day of January 1768 before Peter Planck.
