Examination Text | Ann Wannar aged about 48 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr John Lewis a Victualler at the sign of the Black Horse in Oxendon Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of three years at the yearly wages of 4 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same near one year ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes. Taken in the workhouse the 27th Day of November 1767. |
