Examination TextElizabeth Pass aged 32 years lodging at Mr White's a Shoemaker in Hogg Lane St Giles's upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Richard Pass (gone into the country) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St. Paul Covent Garden the 12th Day of January in the year 1769, that the said husband is a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house in Meeting House Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the yearly rent of 14 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about three years ago, that her said husband hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year [nor] paid any parish taxes since, that she hath four children by her said husband to wit William aged nine years last July, John aged eight years the ninth of August last, James aged three years the 21st of December last, and Mary born the fifth of January last all now with her this Examinant. Sworn the fourth Day of September 1783 before William Hyde.
