Examination TextMary Sibley aged 4[?] years lodging at Mr Dyke's a Gingerbread [?] in Cross Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Francis Sibley (who died last December) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of Botolph, Bishopsgate [sic] the ninth of July in the year 1758, that her said husband lived in and rented and separate apartment viz. five rooms (the lower floor being let for a potatoe warehouse) in Spital Fields Market in the Parish of Christ Church in the County of Middlesex for the space of two years at the yearly rent of 10 pounds 10 shillings, quitted the same about three years ago January last, that her said husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since, that she this Examinant hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since the death of her said husband, that she had hath three children by her said husband to wit Robert aged 13 years and upwards (who never was bound an apprentice nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together), Mary aged seven years and upwards and Ann aged six years and upwards all now with this Examinant. Sworn the seventh Day of February 1777 before Thomas Bullard, John Goodchild.
