Examination TextJoseph Cook aged 68 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Sepulchre in the city of London upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Morgan in a Cellar under the house of Mr Taylor at Charing Cross in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all the said term out, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of his said apprenticeship.
