Examination TextHenry Barnard aged 23 years and upwards destitute of Lodging on his Oath saith that he was bound an Apprentice by an Indenture for Seven years to John Lomax a Tallow Chandler in Hedge Lane in the Parish of St Martins in the Fields, and there served his said Master for the space of five years or thereabouts and then his said Master failed and he this Deponent Enlisted into the Twenty Second Regiment of Light Dragoons, That he hath not kept house rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor been a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together since, That he was Married to his Present Wife Ann at the Parish Church of st Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex the Seventh Day of January last. Sworn the 22nd Day of Novr. 1784 Before William Hyde.
