Examination TextMargaret Connor aged about 55 years lodging at a Chandlers Shop in Dukes Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, upon her Oath saith That she is the Widow of William Connor (who died fourteen years ago next May) That since the death of her said husband (having no child living) she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs. Harris a Widow a Dresser at Covent Garden Playhouse in Dukes Court aforesaid for the space of three years all under one hiring at the yearly wages of five pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about twelve months ago, That she hath not kept house or rented a tenement of ten pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor was a yearly hired Servant in any one place for twelve months together since.
