| Examination Text | The Examination of Mary stanley Taken this Tenth Day of Septr. 1778. This Examinant on hear Oath saith That she is about 25 years of age, That she is the Wife of Thomas stanley (who hath deserted her and neglect to provide for her) to whom she was Married at the Parish Church of St Martin in the Fields about five Weeks ago, That her said Husband is a Taylor by Trade and lived in and Rented an House in Turners Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of Six Months at the yearly rent of ten pounds besides taxes, quitted the same about One Month ago, That she is now pregnant by her said Husband.
