Examination TextJoan Miller aged near ffourty years lodging at one Joness in Crown Court in the parish of St Giles in the ffields Saith she is the wife of Thomas Miller gone from her two years ago to whom she was marryed at the Hand and Pen in the ffleet seven years ago but hath no Child by him that he was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for seven Years to one James Higginbottom a Hatter who then lived in Princes Street near the End of Lisle Street in the parish of St Anne Westmr whom he there served about two Years of his Time and his Master then removed to the Corner of Coventry Street in the Haymarket and there he served the Remainder of his Apprenticeship and that she this Examinant was marryed to him after he had served his said Master in the Haymarket aforesaid about three or four years and then they took Lodgings and lived together at several Places during his Apprenticeship and last of all lodged at one by Oliver's Mount in the parish of St George hanover Square where they lodged about [blank] before his Time expired after which they never kept house rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes Sworn the [blank]
