Examination TextMary Whitehead aged twenty three Years (in the workhouse) Saith she never was marryed that she was bound by Indenture an Apprentice for seven years to one Mrs Goodwin a fflourisher who lived at Dr Smiths in Long Acre in the parish of St Martin in the ffields who she served at the said Dr Smiths five years and then her Mistress removed into Cross Lane in Long Acre aforesaid in the same parish and she this Examinant with her and there served the remainder since which she hath lived in several Services as last of all was a yearly hired Servant to one Mr Perkins at the Crown Alehouse in Long Acre aforesaid whom she there served fifteen months had four pound ten shillings by the year Wages Diet and Lodging came thence about two years ago and never lived a year in any other Service since nor ever kept house rented ten pounds by the year or paid any parish Taxes Sworn
