Examination TextWilmot Hale aged upwards of 60 Years in the Work House saith she is the Widow of Richd Hales who Dyed 16 years ago that he was a shoemaker and that he and Mr Prichard kept Shop together over against Mr Fishers a Mercer at the Wheatsheaf in New Round Court in the Strand 3 Years and that her sd Husband had one side of the Shop and a Room overhead one pair of Stairs and Mr Prichard all the rest of the House that her said husband paid Twelve pounds yearly Rent but no taxes and dyed in the said House as aforesaid that he was before that a yearly hired Servt to one Mr Davis in the same Cort 5 years had 30£ Pr Ann wages diet & Lodging and had liv'd there 3 years under that hiring before he marryed this Examint which was at the fleet Chapell 26 years ago that she hath no Child now living nor hath been a Servt since his Death kept House &c Sworn
