Examination TextElizabeth Noble aged about 25 Saith she sat up last night under the Portico of the Church of this parish Saith she is the Wife of Richard Noble now a Soldier in Collonel Brown's Company in the first Regiment of ffot Guards to whom she was Married at the Fleet about Eleven years ago Saith he is by Trade a Balcksmith and was bound an Apprentice by Indenture for Seven years to one Mr Bray in Off Alley York Buildings and served there about Three years as she hath heard and then his Master broke and went off and he never was turned over or bound an Apprentice to any Person afterwards But since that and before marriage he was a yearly hired Servant to Mr King who then kept the Cock and Bottle Alehouse in the Strand near Cecil Street Three years had Diet and Lodging but can't tell what Wages he had and that he never was a yearly hired Servant since nor never kept house rented 10£ Pr Ann or paid any Parish Taxes hath one Child Mary aged about Two years now in the Workhouse of this parish
