| Examination Text | Elizabeth Pratt aged abt 31 years Saith she is the Wife of James Pratt aged 27 years who is now gone from her by whom she hath three children Vizt Margaret aged upwards of Six years James aged four years and Elizabeth abt 7 Months all born in Kings Court in Russel Street where she now lodgeth Saith she was married to her said husband in St Martins Tabernacle Seven years agoe ever since November last that her said Husband is by Trade a Sawyer and now bound to his ffather Nathaniel Pratt who died near four years Since in KIngs Court aforesaid where he kept House 13 years and paid 10£ Pr Ann Rent as this Examinant believes having Seen the Landlords Recet for 10£ Pr Ann Rent Saith her Husband as he told her as also her Husbands ffather & Mother that he was bound to his ffather & Served him in KIngs Court aforesaid ffive years and at the expiration thereof kept with & workt for his ffather to the time of his marrying this Examint Saith they never kept House or rented 10£ Pr Ann Jurat 30 die Augusti 1732 Coram Saml Grey Elizh Pratt |
