Examination Text | Catherine Smith aged aboiut 36 years past with her Husband John Smith and Catherine their Child aged about half a year from St Giles without Cripplegate in the County of Middx now in the workhouse of this parish Saith she was Married to her said Husband at the ffleet about Nine years agoe and that he is by Trade a Painter and Served his Time in Ipswich in the County of Suffolk And further saith thsat he was a yearly hired Servant before Marriage to one Mr Breach a Painter then living in Salisbury Street inthe Strand in this Parish whom he served there upwards of a year had 10£ Pr Ann Wages Diet and Lodging as she hath heard her said Husband Say And further saith that her Husband never kept House rented 10£ Pr Ann or paid any Parish Taxes never |
