Examination TextJohn Reynolds aged about 56 years past from St Giles in the ffields now in the workhouse belonging to the parish of St Martin in the ffields Saith he was married to Jane his wife in St Martins Church about 27 years agoe Saith he is by Trade a ffarrier and was bound an apprentice to the widow Barnes in Castle Street by the Meuse for Seven Years whom he served there about three years and an half and then on Some disagreement was discharged Saith that he was never turned over afterwards And that he never was a Housekeeper rented 10£ Pr Ann Since Saith that before marriage he was a yearly hired Servant to one Coll Byerly who then lived in York Buildings in whose service he continued about three years and 6£ Pr Ann standing wages and Diet And that he lay when in Town at his Masters Stables in York Buildings aforesaid and after he quitted his said Service was hired to the Earl of Angelsea who then lived in Dover Street as Postillion and after he had been there about 2 Months he married and continued in the said Service abt Nine mos after Marriage being abt Eleven Months in the whole being certain he did not live there twelve months in the whole nor service a years Wages Saith he hath no Children living Jurat die 1731
