Examination TextAlice Whitworth aged 27 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, as she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Granger, Peruke Maker in that part of Leicester Fields which is in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same between two and three years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the eighth day of February 1766 before Peter Planck.
