Examination TextWilliam Weston aged about 22 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of Kensington in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he never was bound an apprentice, that while single and unmarried he was a yearly hired servant in the capacity of a Porter to Messrs Bullard and Bradshaw, Laceman next Northumberland house in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one year and five months at the yearly wages of [blank] pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about three years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish [taxes], that he was married to his present wife Ann at the Parish Church of Kensington aforesaid the 29th day of May in the year 1763 by whom he hath one child to wit Elizabeth aged one year and upwards now with this Examinant. Sworn the [blank] Day of January 1766 before [blank].
