| Examination Text | Isabella Higgins aged about 30 Yeares now in the Workhouse Says she is the wife of Thomas Higgins now at Minorca was married to him at the fleet abt Six Yeares agoe that he is by Trade a Sadler was never bound an Appren but learnt that Business of his ffather some where in the Country Saith he was a Yearly hired Servant to Mrs Bignell in Suffolk Street 2 yeares (during One of which time he was Married) had £9 or £10 Pr Ann Wages diet and Lodging, as she hath her said husband Say, that he never kept house or Rented £10 Pr Ann or paid any pochial Taxes to any Parish hath no Child. Upon Inquiry Mrs Bicknell said that Thomas Higgins was her Servant for two Years |
