| Examination Text | Nicholas Duff aged 72 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields within the liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith that since the death of his wife having no child living he this Examinant was a yearly hired servant in the capacity of a Porter to Lord Tyrawley on the East side of Leicester Fields in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for several years at the yearly wages of 8 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the said service about one year and a half and hath been in the aforesaid workhouse ever since.
