Examination Text | Mary Poole aged about 33 years lodging at one Mr Burrows in Dawsons Alley saith she is the wife Isaac Poole a Porter to whom she was married at the Hand and Pen in the Fleet upwards of six years, and that he was born in Bedfordbury (but in what part she knows not) and was a yearly hired servant to Mr Denbrook who kept livery stables in Bedfordbury a year as he hath informed her, she not knowing him or what wages he had, and that he never was bound apprentice kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant since. Sworn [the 25th day of February 1741]. |
