Examination Text | Sarah Drake aged 57 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields within the liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she was married to her husband Edward Drake at a house in the Fleet upwards of a year ago, that he was a yearly hired servant to one Esquire Webster as a Butler, but what wages he had knows not nor ever heard, and lived with a whole year and upwards then being single and unmarried the whole time, that her said husband went away and left her at Ruslip [sic] near Uxbridge at Michaelmas last and knows not where he now is.
