Examination Text | Mary Poultney aged 21 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from Dartford in Kent upon her oath saith she never was married at an apprentice never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes, that she was born in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Racket in Ely Court by Hatton Gardens in the Parish of St Andrew Holborn below the Bars London for the space of about one year and an half at 3 pounds per ann. diet and lodging, quitted the same six years ago and never was a yearly hired servant for the space of one whole year afterwards. Sworn the 7th Day of March 1745 before me James Fraser. |
