| Examination Text | Ann Leavers aged 20 years lodging in Dawsons Alley in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields saith she is the wife of John Leavers (who has been gone from her this three months) to whom she was married at the corner of the Fleet Lane about seven or eight months ago, that he is a Shoemaker by trade and has heard that he served his time to his Father in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that no one expired, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant. Sworn the 15th Day of January 1745 before James Fraser. |
