| Examination Text | Jane Denbrook aged 31 saith that she is the wife of Richard (gone from her about three years) to whom she was married at the Rainbow Coffee House in the Fleet six years ago, that he lived in and rented [an house in] Bedfordbury in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for three years at 22 pounds per ann. besides taxes, quitted the same about three years ago and never kept house of or rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant afterwards, that she hath one child by him now living to wit Ann aged five years now with her this Examinant. Sworn the third Day of November 1744 before James Fraser. |
