Examination Text | Rosamond Plowman aged 54 years lodging at Mrs Scotts in Hedge Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields saith she is the widow of William Plowman (who has been dead about nine years ago) to whom she was married at the Fleet 24 years ago, that he was by trade a Bitmaker and served his time out with her brother Edward Hooke in the Mews in the said parish which expired about 24 years ago, that she never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant [after] his death. Sworn the 31st of May 1746 before James Fraser. |
