Examination Text | Margaret Crighton aged 40 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she never was married bound apprentice kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes, but was a yearly hired servant to Mr Bradley a Fishmonger in Hungerford Market in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of seven years at the yearly wages of 3 pounds per ann. diet and lodging, quitted the same about 17 years ago and hath never been a yearly hired servant since or gained any other settlement since. Taken the 23rd Day of December 1747. |
