Examination TextSarah Evans aged thirty five years lodging at Mrs Burke?s in Kings Court, near Russell Street in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the aforesaid Liberty and in the County of Middlesex on her Oath saith, That she is the Wife of William (gone from her) to whom she was married in the Parish Church of Saint Martin in the Fields on the 27th day of November in the year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Seventy four. That her said Husband lived in and rented a House in Off Alley in the aforesaid Parish of St.Martin in the Fields as a Taylor for the Space of Two Years at the yearly Rent of twenty two pounds, besides Taxes, quitted the Same about eight years ago: that She hath two children by her said Husband; to wit Samuel William Augustus aged ten years and Sarah Ann aged 6 Weeks, both now with this deponent.
