Examination Text | William Gardiner aged 35 years of the Workhouse of and in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields on his Oath saith that he never was Married that he was a yearly hired Servant to Mr Shaw an Ironmonger the lower end of Long Acre in the Parish aforesaid for the space of One year and four Month all under one hiring at the yearly wages of ten Pounds diet and Lodging quitted the same about the Month of January last that he the sd Deponant hath not Kept House rented a tenement of Ten Pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes since.
