Description | Read the Petition of James Holmes 30 years of age. He does not know to what Parish he belongs. He was bound apprentice when young to a Scale beam maker in Cannon Street from whom he eloped after six weeks and went to sea. He is disabled from going into service again by a swimming of the head occasioned by a Fever in the west Indies. He has been in Newgate One month for stealing 3 pieces of Cloth. Not appearing in good health, he was recommended to apply to the Parish, where he was apprenticed. |
