Informacon of Sarah Finley< no role > taken before Jno

< no role > Esrs the 1st of September 1705 Saith that
abt 5 years agoe Shee this Informt was in Company wth
Wm Blackburne who< no role > was then Servant to the Lord Gray
Earle of Tankervile & had beene a Yearely hired Servt
as his Gardiner for Sevall Years at his house at Upp Park-
near Peters feild in the Parish of Hartin in the County
of Sussex who then Owned himselfe to be the Reall father
of a Female Bastard Childe now aged abt 8 years
who goes by the name of Mary Finley< no role > but whose reall name
is Mary Blackburne and Further Saith That when ye
Said Mary Blackburne was abt one month Old the sd
William Blackburne< no role > the father of the sd Childe came
to the house of Robert Bolton< no role > who then and nowes lives
at the Signe of the Whittinton and his Catt in Grays
Inn passage in the Parish of St Andrews Holbourne in ye
Sd County where this Informts Brother and Sister then Sd aged
and there did Agreewthwth this Informts Sister for
Eleaven pounds for the Bringing upp of the sd Mary Blackburn< no role >
the sd Childe wch Said Sume of £11 was then paid to this
Informts Sister the Brother being gone out of Towne, and Some
time afterwards this Informts Brother whose name, is
John Finley< no role > went into Hollis Street in the Parish
of St Clemt Danes in the County aforesd and there Rented a house
of abt £16 P Ann where he left the Sd Mary Blackburne< no role >
to the Care and Charge of the sd Parish And alsoe Further
Saith That the Sd Mary Blackburne the sd Bastard
Child was borne in the Same parish wherein
the sd Lord Gray Earle of Tankervile lived as
aforesd and Further Saith not
