The Condicon of this Obligacon is such That Whereas the Churchwardens

Overseeres of the poore of the Parish of St Clement Danes wth thassent of two
Justices of the peace according to a Statute in yt behalfe Have putt Mary Ellis< no role > an
Apprentice to ye above named John Phibbs< no role > & Mary< no role > his wife for the terme of
seaven yeares commenceing from the day above written. And have given with
the said Apprentice ye Sume of fourty shillings sterling If therefore the said
John Phibbs< no role > and Willielund Swingler or eyther of them or theire heires
Executors. or Admrs. Doe well and sufficiently provided for bee pd & maintaine
the said Apprentice in by and with all and all manner of needefull & necessary
washing Lodging Apparrell Linnen and all other necessarys meete and
convenient for such an Apprentice dureing the said terme And allsoe well
and sufficiently save defend and keepe harmelesse & Indempnified the
Churchwardens & Overseeres of the poore & theire Successors. And all the
Parishoners and Inhabitants of the said Parish which now are & hereafter
shall be & every of them of & from the Charge of Keepeing & maintaineing
the said Apprentice dureing the said terme And of and from Accons
Suites & Taxacons whatsoever which the said Parish or Parishoners of
St Clement Danes or any of them shall or may incurre susteind or be put
unto in any manner of wise in respect of the said Apprentice Then this
Obligacon to be voyd and of none effect or else to be & remaine in full
force power & virtue.
