A Motion made and the Question Put whether the
Wainscott Work be Cleaned Pursuant to Mr. Godwins
Proposall
Carryed in the Affirmative

Resolved and Agreed that the Church wardens
Agree with Mr. Edward Godwin for Cleaning the
Wainscott Work in the Church pursuant to his
Proposal

Whereas this Board hath Desired the
Scavengers for this present Year to Agree
with the Raker for Cleansing the Streets.
Lanes Alleys & other open Passages in this Parish
for the Sum of £400 or any other Sum not
Exceeding the sd. Sum of £400 It is Resolved
and Agreed by this Board That if the sd. Scavengers
Enter into such Agreement & cannot collect
so much Money as shall be Sufficient to pay
the Raker that then so much Money as shall
be wanting to make the Sum Collected by them
Sufficient to pay the Raker according to their
sd. Agreement in case the same does not amount
to more than the Sum of £400 shall be paid by the
Church wardens & Allowed in their Account
