This being a Meeting called "To Consider of
"the most effectual means of employing the
"Poor for the advantage of the Parish, The Minutes
of the Board of Assistants of the 2d. August 1785 contains
Proposals from a Mr. Rose of St. George Hanover Square.
to Contract for employing the poor for the Term of.
Four Years were read;-and the Board of Assistants.
having approved the same; He offering. £50. for the First
Year without any risque to the Parish. £60. for the Second
£70 for the 3d. and £80: for the 4th.upon certain conditions
in his Proposals specified-The same were taken into
Consideration and maturely and deliberately discussd.
