Read and Audited the Churchwardens Accounts for the
Month of October last Amounting to £10..9..6

At the same time Read the Overseers Monthly Accounts for the
same Month Amounting to £612:12:8

A Motion was made by Mr Marshall and seconded by
Mr. Churchwarden Ireland, and several other Gentlemen
present That the Order of the 21st April 1783- "That for the
future a Sum of 30 Guineas and no less be Accepted as a fine
to Excuse any Inhabitant from serving Parochial Offices." be
Amended and that the same be Reduced to £20- The Question
was put and Carried in the affirmative- And a Motion
being made That the sum of Eleven Pounds Ten Shillings Ten Guineaseach be Returned to
Marshal of Beauforts Buildgs.. and Mr. Brown the Corner of Essex
Street. They having paid the whole fine of 30 Guas- The question
was put and carried in the Affirmative by a considerable
Majority
