Read & Auditted the Churchwardens Account for the
Month of Septr. last amounting to the Sum of £6..10..4
At the same time read & Auditted the Accounts of
the Overseers of the Poor
for the same Month Amount
to the Sum of}£354..15..3
Resolved and Agreed that the 3d. Rate for the necessary
releif of the Poor be at 6d. in the Pound Rents and that the
Vestry Clerk rate the Books accordingly.
A Motion made by Mr. Perins and Seconded by several
Gentn. Present that a Matt shod. be put down in the Middle
Isle in the Church for the Use of such of the Inhabitants and
the Poor who Commonly sit there It was Unanimously
Agreed that the same shod. be put down accordingly by the
present Upper Churchwarden and the Expences attending the
same be allowed in his Accounts
Signed the Watch Rate for the Present Year at 4d in the
Pound Rents agreeable to the resolution of the last Vestry.
