Read and Auditted the Accounts of the Churchwardens for the Month of
January Amounting to the Sum of£7..11..9
At the same time read and Auditted the Accounts of the Overseers of the
Poor for the same Month Amounting to the Sum of £536..16..5
Ordered that Mr. Leigh the Surgeon be paid Three Guineas for his
trouble in Opening the Body of a Person Alledged to be Murthered &
his attendance on prosecuting the Person Alledged to be Murtherer
Ordered that what necessary Repairs are wanting to be done at the Clock &
Chimes be forthwith repaired by Mr. Perins and his Bill for such
repairs be allowed in the Churchwardens Accounts
A Motion made by Mr. Rainforth and Seconded and the Question put
whither a Sallary of Eight Pounds a year Shod. be paid by to Mr. Popham
the Present Curale and his Successors for Extra Prayers to Commence at
Christmas last and that the Churchwardens for the time being do pay onely
Sallary and allowed in his Accounts the same was Covrd. in the
