Application having been made by Mr. Tavener to
return the Burial Fees &c, for one Richd. Wiltshire< no role >
directions having been given to the Sexton of this
Parish to prepare a Grave and toll the Bell, the
several Officers attended in order to inter the said
Corps; but instead of burying the said Rd. Wiltshire< no role >
in this Parish, the said Mr. Tavener buried him
in St. Martin in the Fields

Resolved that the said
Fees be not returned by the Sexton unless compelled
by Law so to do, this Vestry being convinced the
Grave was made the Bell toll'd and the Parish
Servants attended

Ordd. That Mr. Churchwarden Massey pay
the remainder of the Tradesmen's Bills that remain
unpaid for compleating the Stairs at Strand
Bridge , the subscription opened for that Purpose
being insufficient to discharge the same
